week begining the 14th June

This week was our broadcast week and i was ill from the previous friday so i was unable to do my job role as a camera-man and was told to be on Auto-script. So for the reharsal before hand i was and i went for a quick break and when i returned Jaime was on the auto-script and he told me someone had assigned him this job so i went to phil and he told me to observe the sound room which i did. I soon became really ill and after we had finished i asked if i could leave which i did. On thursday i did not come in because i was still ill. From what i seen on wednesday's broadcast day it went really well. There were a few mistakes but we had a hour delay so we could correct these mistakes. The sound room did a great job especcially jack dargov who was on VT.    

week begining 7th june

This week me and Dan completed the keepy upy quiz and we managed to shorten it down to two minutes. We also made our radio show on the tuesday which went really well considering it wasnt really rehearsed. I produced a script for sports and also some celebrity news. I also finished of dan's world affairs news which was only one story about BP. In our radio show i also read the headlines and also the World affairs part of the news. which i had'nt rehearshed because i only found out that day that i was reading. I handled it ok only stuttering a couple of times. On wednesday we filmed our Extra-time programme. In the morning I set-up our set which took about an hour. The set looked good apart from a few parts of the board in the background revealed. I was camera-man in the final show and i managed to get in some good shots and i followed dan's directions correctly and even used some improvised tracking shots. Overall i thought the show went really well considering the fans part was a bit disorganised because we only had a couple of rehearsals before hand. The fans did improvise really well and didnt make any mistakes and managed to controll there language. The editing after this was left to D'Arcy so i had finished my work for the week.

week begining 24th may

This week I continued to edit down the keepy upy quiz. I managed to shorten it down to about 3 minutes. I then edited the Birmingham quiz and managed to complete the editing. For radio i managed to complete a sports script and also started a celebrity script. We also rehearsed our extra-time programme which was awful and very dis-organised.

Tuesday 18th

Today i started my TV report and researched the BBC history. We then had audio and we i was the given the job to produce news stories. I created a sports script and also a short celebrity script but we didnt get round to making it.

Monday 17th May

Today i continued to edit our keepy upy quiz and also our Birmingham quiz. I cut the videos down to about 30' seconds each but they still need much more editing to shorten them down to three minutes. We also had a quick rehearsal without the fans which went quite well but a bit disoganised.

Friday 14th May

Today i started editing the 'Keepy Upy Quiz' and edited most of the footage down to around five minutes ive still got to edit more and will on monday.

Wednesday 12th May

Today our group went to wake green fields to film the crossbar challenge and the quizzes. It was pretty successful we managed to get all of our features done and had more than enough filming. We didnt encounter any problems whilst there apart from some occasional swearing but that will be easy to edit out.
